DeathBanRevive
DeathBanRevive is essentially a fairly standard ban upon death plugin, but it adds a few useful extra features.
Features
-
Ban on Death: When a player dies, they receive a permanent ban from the server.
-
Custom Ban Message: The ban message can be changed in the plugin’s config: player-banned: "&cPlayer %player% has died!"
-
Death Broadcasts: When a player dies, a death message is broadcast to all players in chat. The message can be customized in the config. Default message:
player-banned: "&cPlayer %player% has died!"
You can also configure whether death messages are broadcast or not:
broadcast-deaths:
true - deaths will be broadcast
false - deaths will not be broadcast
- Toggle Ban-on-Death Feature: You can enable or disable the deathban system directly in the config:
ban-on-death:
true - feature enabled
false - feature disabled
-
Player Data Storage: When a player dies, all of their data (inventory, armor, experience, etc.) is saved into a file in the deaths folder.
-
Revival Command: Server operators can use the following command: /revive <player>
This command removes the ban from the specified player, restores all of their saved items and experience.
Note: For the best results, it is recommended to revive a player shortly after they die. If, due to some kind of bug, not all of their items are restored, you can view their items and exact quantities in their death file, along with additional information.
